For nearly 60 years, Dunn has stayed true to its mission to educate the whole student. To accomplish this, the entire community is committed to understanding and living by the following core values: Emotional Wellness, Physical Readiness, Intellectual Growth, Social Responsibility, and Moral Courage. Dunn is a community of entrepreneurs – students have already been starting businesses, investing real money (our students manage a portfolio worth over $400,000!), and running a store for decades, but now Dunn has invested in expanding those classes into a full major to give students the option to go even deeper through a project based entrepreneurial program and major to help them showcase their mastery as entrepreneurs. Graduates from the Dunn School Jurgensen Major are fully prepared for life in college and beyond.

Dunn School has establish a partnership with Alan Hancock College in which students can receive university credits by taking several courses.

Dunn School is located in Santa Barbara County, along California's beautiful Central Coast.
