Michaela Bartáková

Michaela is a specialist in international university education with over five years of experience at JK Education. During this time, she has successfully helped many students achieve their dream of studying at prestigious foreign universities. She now leads the team that assists students not only with selecting suitable schools but also with thorough preparation for the admission process.

Michaela is also responsible for building and maintaining partnerships with universities, giving her detailed insight into their representatives and admission procedures. She actively visits foreign schools, educational fairs, and other events focused on student education.

  • Admission Process

    Once we agree on the schools you want to apply to, we will assist you in preparing for the admissions process, guide you through the entire procedure, and ensure that you submit all necessary documents on time.

    If the school decides on acceptance, we will work together on a payment schedule, discuss accommodation options, and go through other conditions for enrolling in the school.

Essay editing and writing support

The essay is a key part of the college admissions process, but writing one may not be so easy. What’s more, in admissions to more prestigious universities, an interesting and quality essay is a must. At JK Education, we work with tutors and fluent speakers who can help you with essay structure, grammar and the choosing of relevant topics. 
 

Tutoring

We provide tutoring for prospective high school and college students. We can focus on individual problem areas or on the specific subject in which you will be taking the entrance exams. A tutor will be available (either online or in person in Prague) to focus on the parts of the tests you need to improve in. The tutor can also provide mock tests to see how you would score on the official test and tailor your study plan based on that.
 

Preparation for language exams

SAT (English and Maths), TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo (English only) and more

With the help of fluent English speakers and language specialists, we will thoroughly prepare you for the tests you may face in the admissions process to a quality foreign university. 
 
 

Sports advice

We work with an external sports agency who can assess your sports statistics as well as your potential and, based on this, recommend universities that might be interested in you. The agency can also evaluate what sports scholarships you may qualify for based on your abilities. As part of this consultation, we will also help you with communicating with coaches, creating videos for coaches and other necessary processes.
 

Career and academic counseling

In cooperation with leading Czech psychologists, we offer career and study counseling for prospective high school and university students. Counseling can help you make decisions about studying abroad and guide you towards the career choices that best suit your abilities, skills and aspirations.
