American Academy

Czech Republic

American Academy is a network of American schools in Prague, Brno, and Zagreb, all of which are united by a single educational vision. They offer an American-style curriculum with project-based learning that allows their students to choose subjects that interest them. Not only do they prepare students to study at some of the most prestigious universities in the world, but they also help students become proactive global citizens who can shape the world. American Academy's signature theme weeks allow students to learn how to collaborate effectively with others, build strong teams, and think creatively to find solutions.

In September 2020, a new, carefully prepared STEM Program (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) was opened. In 2021, the American Academy in Zagreb opened in Croatia for high school students and also offers a technology STEM program.

The American Academy schools are located in beautiful historical cities. Students have everything they need at their fingertips, including public transportation, shops and cafes. In September 2023, American Academy in Prague relocated to a larger building just a few minutes from the previous campus. Our school boasts an impressive auditorium, digital study rooms and a dedicated STEM classroom. In addition to a beautiful, yet practical campus, we are the only school in the country to offer a partially digital curriculum.
