Marianapolis Preparatory School

Connecticut, USA

Marianapolis Preparatory School combines traditional values with a modern approach to education. Students focus not only on gaining knowledge, but also on developing practical skills they will truly use – in life, at university, and in their future careers. The core principle of education at Marianapolis is learning by doing – through programs like LEAP and the Centers of Excellence, students connect what they learn in the classroom with real-world experiences. They are encouraged to think creatively, collaborate, express their opinions, and face challenges using the Habits of Mind framework, which fosters independence and critical thinking. The school offers up to 28 AP courses, a strong emphasis on science, technology, and the arts (especially photography, painting, and architecture), and outstanding sports facilities with 17 competitive teams.

According to Niche.com, Marianapolis ranks among the top 10% of schools in the United States. Among other opportunities, the school offers internships at universities and companies through its Centers of Excellence program.
