Founded in 1850, San Domenico is an internationally recognized K-12 day and boarding school. SD provides a rigorous college-prep academic program including 126 courses, 27 AP and honor classes, and a nationally ranked STEM program. SD students enjoy an expansive 515-acre campus that includes a music conservatory, performing arts center, digital and visual arts studio and makers space, along with athletic facilities including gym/fitness centers, tennis courts, playing fields and a new Olympic-sized competitive swimming and waterpolo facility.

The school was founded in 1850 by Dominican sisters and is the oldest independent school in California just 30 minutes away from San Francisco.

Located on an expansive 515-acre campus, San Domenico is just 30 minutes from San Francisco. Nestled in a tree laden valley, the school features over 30,000 square feet of academic buildings, including a Music Conservatory, two theatres, dance studio, and a 3D makers space. Our athletic facilities support 25 teams and include gym/fitness center, tennis courts, playing fields, and a new Olympic sized water polo and swimming complex. These expansive facilities provide students, at all levels with opportunities to develop their gifts and explore their interests and passions outside of the classroom.
